TENIELLE STOLTENKAMP TALKS TO EVOLVE MAKEUP CREATOR EVE CONNELLY ABOUT HARD WORK, BUSINESS ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND UNLEASHING YOUR INNER BEAUTY.
AFTER YEARS of hard work, sleepless nights and countless hours labelling her unique brand of professional makeup in her home, May heralds the next big step in the evolution of celebrity makeup artist Eve Connelly’s amazing career.
Eve has just opened up a new showroom and advanced training facility in Bundall. “The White House”, as it is known, is an opulent venue showcasing the extensive Evolve range of products, as well as being the hub of personalised service to learn the latest makeup tips and techniques. Eve has worked to create a place for women to discover how they can evolve to be the best woman possible.
As well as being a single mother, Eve Connelly has grown Evolve from the ground up, having started the business in her home six years ago. Her new showroom marks the evolution of a brand that is now recognised nationally and internationally. Eve wants to invite the women of the Gold Coast to share her wealth of experience. She’s hosting a range of events for makeup professionals and the everyday woman wanting to learn industry secrets. Eve is
now available to the general public by appointment, and can’t wait to teach the latest makeup looks and tricks via a series of workshops.
This month, she launches the Ladies Powder Room - an opportunity for groups of four to six ladies to have a one-on-one consultation with an industry professional. These five-hour workshops are designed to get ladies out of their makeup ruts and teach them how to enhance their best features. The Ladies Powder Room is fun, practical and handson.
All products and tools are supplied, including champagne!
After celebrities such as Mimi Macpherson, Anthony Robbins, Jenny Morris, Rebecca Budig and Kate Miller-Heidke started falling in love with Evolve products, Eve knew that everyday women should experience their benefits too.
“We offer an incredible professional range at an affordable price,” she says. “We’ve introduced a unique medicinal concept into our foundation range. Our advanced formula contains anti-ageing properties such as coenzyme 010, bringing skincare into our cosmetics. Evolve is also producing a range of foundations for darker skin tones.”

De Chazal & Macpherson make-up over high tea
The hottest ticket across this week’s onslaught of Brisbane fashion festival programs and parades is a satellite event featuring Richard de Chazal’s LA preview collection for Fall/Winter 09 and the launch of new face for Evolve makeup, Mimi Macpherson.
The Grand Ballroom of the Brisbane Marriott Hotel will be transformed into a fantasy world of Hollywood luxe and glamour when multi award-winning bad boy of fashion, Richard de Chazal hosts the next Marriott at 10 high tea event on Friday, August 29.
In keeping with his golden-age inspiration, de Chazal has cleverly cast a role call of modelling talent with a difference.
20 of his exclusive pieces featuring jewel-like colours, metallic finishes and fur trims, will be showcased by this region’s most respected actors, performers and creatives, including Brisbane’s own La La Parlour showgirls.
As McPherson prepares for this Friday’s sell-out event, she says De Chazal has worked his magic as photographer, designer and visionary to capture her as the new face of Evolve makeup.
“Evolve makeup has been a favourite brand amongst professional makeup artists and celebrities for the last five years and when I was asked by Queensland founder Eve Connelly to be more involved, I jumped at the chance,” she said.
Evolve makeup is not tested on animals and is now retailing to the general public.
Geoffrey Herberg from Chemistry For Hair and Eve Connelly from Evolve Make Up will add the finishing touches to Richard’s signature looks on each of the models.

We all know that looking good, is feeling good! We also know how easy it is to get stuck in a make -up rut; using the same products and colours that we have relied on since the eighties. For some of us, we have never been shown which colours best suit us or how to enhance our best features.

Groups of four to six ladies are invited to book a one-day, five-hour workshop designed to teach them how to enhance their best features. From colour and skin tone matching,, application tips; and lessons on how to go from day to night with the flick of a brush. All products and tools are supplied, including the champagne!
After celebrities such as Mimi Macpherson, Anthony Robbins, Jenny Morris, Rebecca Budig and Kate Miller-Heidke started falling in love with Evolve Make-Up, Eve knew that everyday women should experience the benefits of her professional products.
