A note from our Founder ….
Since starting Evolve in 2003, we’ve been consistently asked about providing make up training courses. However, we have been very careful in out approach to training, providing advanced workshops for working professionals only.
Why? Well, lets face it, Evolve is a brand product driven company, and it is my personal belief that to train with only one product line in a diploma course at the early stages of a student’s career, is somewhat limiting. Not one product out there can be everything to everyone.
Students need the freedom to explore, it’s important for developing skills in this vastly creative and competitive industry and to find what works best for them. If you show up on a film set with knowledge on only one product, you’ll be severely crippling your opportunity.
Our advanced workshops are designed to be more specific for the ‘working’ make up artist wishing to gain knowledge and experience in our products and be inspired through practical and intensive training be leading industry educators, who are actually working in the industry and have real experiences to share.

Product Knowledge & Application ‘Tips & Tricks’ Workshop
This ‘hands on’ workshop has been designed to introduce you to the Evolve Make Up range and show you step by step ‘tips & tricks’ application techniques that are unique to our products, incorporating the latest trends in wedding and fashion artistry.

One on One Training
If you feel like you need more personalized training in any area of Make Up & Hair Styling, no problem, we can design a workshop just for you.
Professional Educator Rates start at $110/hour with a minimum 2 hour call. Please contact head office to arrange a date to suit you.
Airbrush Workshop
This concentrated one day ‘hand’ workshop gives the Make Up Artist all of the basic tools and knowledge needed for successful airbrushing application for film, Photographic, fashion and Special Events.
Airbrushing is becoming extremely popular due to its long lasting, flawless and natural finish.

Professional Hair Styling Workshop
In the competitive make up industry, it is Important to develop more than one skill. Hairstyling is an addition to make up artistry that goes hand-in-hand.
Many film and television projects are asking for professionals that can perform multiple duties to be hired on projects for fashion shows, photo shoots, videos, independent films and television and commercials.
Be one of the few skilled artist to utilized the necessary and important skill of hairstyling.

Advanced Photographic Workshop
For the serious professional! An intensive one day workshop designed to hone your skills in modern photographic make up, from high fashion to wedding and special events. A professional make up & hair style educator will be on hand to guide you through a complete make over.
You will also gain practical and immediate visual critique via an industry professional fashion photography. If you are looking to update your CV, this is the perfect opportunity, you will also be provided with a CD of your work, and 2xA4 prints for your portfolio

Make Up & Hair products and tools will be supplied. You will need to bring a model, 2 changes of wardrobe for your model and any accessories outside our product line.
